Can I sell to friends and family while in escrow with you?
No. Our escrow program is not for agents who are actively representing clients.
Are there additional fees?
No. Our annual program fee is the only broker fee to participate in the program. You will have other expenses to third-parties including continuing education and license renewal fees to the State of Michigan to maintain your license.
Do I need to do continuing education?
Yes, the State of Michigan requires all licensees to complete continuing eduction according to their schedule. This requirement is the same for licenses in the holding company.
Can I be paid for referrals while in holding?
Yes. You can be paid for referring clients to other agents while your license is in our holding company. The referred agent will sign a referral agreement with our company and you will be paid the agreed referral less a small fee. Commission referrals are paid 90% to the agent (minimum of $100 to Ignite Real Estate Group).
How long do I need to stay in the holding company?
You can keep your license in the holding company as long as you'd like.
What do I do to become an active agent again?
You can leave the holding company at any time by notifying us and transferring your license in the MIPlus system. Once your new broker has accepted the license, you are no longer part of the holding company.
